Waggonner and Ball Architects Recognized by ‘Architectural Digest’

We’re thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed members, Waggonner & Ball Architects, for their recent recognition in Architectural Digest’s prestigious list of the “Most Beautiful Private High Schools in America.” This well-deserved accolade is a testament to their exceptional talent and dedication to architectural excellence.

Waggonner & Ball Architects recently completed a remarkable $11 million project at Metairie Park Country Day School, which included the construction of state-of-the-art science and engineering buildings, as well as performing arts spaces. This transformative project has not only enhanced the educational experience for students but has also added to the architectural legacy of the school.

The firm’s thoughtful approach to design is evident in their ability to seamlessly blend the new buildings with the school’s original Southern Mansion style, which dates back to its humble beginnings in 1929. By preserving the campus’s rich architectural heritage while embracing modern innovation, Waggonner & Ball Architects have created a harmonious and inspiring environment for learning and creativity.

The recognition by Architectural Digest highlights the firm’s exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to creating spaces that are both functional and aesthetically stunning. Their dedication to excellence is reflected in every aspect of their work, from conceptualization to execution.
